Overview

The DIN Swing Check Valve is an automatic check valve designed and manufactured in strict compliance with the German Industrial Standards (DIN), featuring a swing-type structure. The valve body is typically constructed from materials such as cast iron, cast steel, or stainless steel, with its design conforming to DIN series standards (e.g., DIN 3354). The valve opens as the forward flow of the medium rotates the disc around its pivot and automatically closes under the combined action of the disc's own weight and reverse pressure.This valve can be installed either horizontally or vertically, offering low flow resistance and flexible operation. It is suitable for applications involving water, steam, oil, and various industrial media. Widely used in chemical, energy, water treatment, and other industries within DIN-compliant pipeline systems, it serves as a universal standard solution for preventing medium backflow.
