Do you know where I can get some specs/calcs on this.  I know it exist, but no one knows about it.  This valve closes due to mechanical force and not fluid force.

I have never heard of a ring check valve even though I have been associated with the valve field for 25+ years. Perhaps, if you provide some additional information/clues (such as what industry, what application, where did you hear about it, etc.) someone may be able to help.
