hi i am setting up a maintenace regime for a HRSG can anybody assist by telling me the time between stripdowns required of pilot operated safety valves? do they need functional testing yearly.You could post this in Safety Relief Valve engineering (PSV) forum, they should have this info.If I recall correctly, when I serviced these on gas tankers (many years ago) it was a 3 year check & certification (with DNV present), I guess it depends on where the pilot op SRV's age in service.
